Head of Art
As Head of Art, I am responsible for the direction and quality of all artistic output from Ripstone. This covers game artwork (the traditional Art Director role) but also the wider scope of company and studio branding, web presence and liaising with the Marketing department and third parties on promotional materials.
More of my key responsibilities are staff development, mentoring and recruitment, alongside this assembling the company strategy for team structure, growth and technology dev. 
I take an active role in arranging outsource with various partners, writing briefs and reviewing the quality of incoming artwork. 
More specifically on Poker Club I created the lions share of the lighting, vfx, poker chips and card designs as well as various 'specialist' shaders though on a smaller art team it really is a team effort. 
Poker Club was also my first shipped project using Unreal so it was interesting to learn this technology and how to make the best use of it's features.
